CAREY INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES LONDON ACQUISITION

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 06, 2004:

Carey International, Inc. today announced that it has acquired the chauffeur drive business of Miles and Miles Ltd. in London. Miles has been in business for over 50 years and has earned a reputation for excellent customer service among a discriminating clientele. Carey plans to integrate its existing London operation with Miles in the near future.

"London represents the largest chauffeur drive market in Europe. We are very excited to expand our presence and service capabilities there with Miles. Two of the premier chauffeur drive services have come together to do more for their customers.
